"Over the last eight years, my wife and I have bought and sold two homes in West Seattle and bought one in University Place with the expert help of Rebecca Mitsui (and of Tom Skepetaris as well during our last purchase and sale). Last October when a desirable semi-detached condo in University Place went on the market, we contacted Rebecca for her assistance because we trusted her professional knowledge and wonderful personal qualities needed to be our real estate agent. "Me and my wife were making a long distance move from California and we just happened to meet Tom at a open house in Seattle and from there on Tom was really great with the followups. Within 3 weeks, Tom helped us find a home that checked all our boxes. As a first time home buyer there were so many questions we had about the whole process which Tom helped us along the way. "Pick Tom. You'll succeed with him. It's clear Tom has expertise that outclasses most other agents. During even the first phone call, while I was feeling out several agents, the conversation with Tom revealed he has greater experience than the others. Over time, he proved it was true. Tom showed his deep knowledge throughout our house hunt together. As we toured homes, it was common for him to reveal information about the specific items, rooms, styles, eras, bedroom counts, modification ideas, types of building materials, additional costs, and more. I learned a lot from this. We hit a regular cadence of viewing homes weekly. This was a good pace. Tom was fast to respond to texts, emails, and phone calls. When it came time to make an offer, Tom explained the process. We hopped on a few Zoom calls to go over the paperwork. Once again, Tom demonstrated deep knowledge in the entire process. For my home, we had an opportunity to negotiate the price downward - rare in the Greater Seattle area. Tom gave me insight into what might work, what wouldn't work, and the process behind negotiations. In the end, we ended up with very favorable contingency terms AND brought the price down. Tom held many back-and-forth conversations with the selling agent and sellers, persuading them to come down on price. Towards the end of the closing process, there were still items to be checked on and questions to be answered. I was able to rely on Tom for it all. Tom also recommended what is likely one of the top lenders you can possibly get. I strongly suggest home buyers consider the recommendation. I closed on the home a few days ago. Even post-closing, it's clear Tom is a resource I'm welcome to continue using. For example, Tom is connecting me with a stager to help get the interior design on my home just right. I have no doubt I'll use Tom as a future resource, both for help with the current home, and to buy my next home"
